Playbrush celebrates World Oral Health Day
Oral health is the highest good for us here at Playbrush. Since the annual “World Oral Health Day” takes place on 20 March, we have taken this as a reason to draw attention to this important day and to extend it over a whole week. Oral health knows no age limits and therefore concerns each of us. So celebrate with us: there are unique activities and competitions and we would like to tell you a little about the “World Oral Health Day”.
Raffle: the best Brusher wins!
Playbrush users who brush twice a day throughout the week of 18 to 24 March will be automatically entered into a raffle to win 1 of 3 Play-Doh Dr. Drill’n Fill sets. It doesn’t matter which game you play. It just matters that you brush your teeth with Playbrush in the morning as well as in the evening for one week. The winners will be randomly selected by our Tooth Fairy.
About World Oral Health Day:
The World Oral Health Day takes place every year on 20 March. It is organised by the FDI World Dental Federation and aims to raise awareness of oral hygiene worldwide. The day, which has a different theme each year, is intended to draw the attention of both children and adults to the importance of good oral health for general well-being. Originally, the World Oral Health Day was held in September. Since 2013 it has taken place on 20.3. for the following reasons:
- Seniors must have a total of 20 natural teeth at the end of their lives to be considered healthy.
- Children should have 20 milk teeth.
- Healthy adults must have a total of 32 teeth and 0 dental caries.
- On a numerical basis, this can be translated as 3/20, i.e. 20 March.
