Playbrush is a European technology startup with the aim of inspiring children to brush their teeth by making it fun.

Playbrush is an interactive smart toothbrush that turns a boring routine into an exciting adventure. Playbrush connects via Bluetooth to smartphones & tablets, so children can play fun games with their own brushing movements. Children are incentivised to brush for long enough and all around their mouths, and receive statistics and feedback after every brush. Playbrush is available as a manual toothbrush attachment or as a sonic toothbrush.

The start-up company, based in Vienna and London, has received seven-digit investment and has a co-branding deal with consumer goods giant Unilever. Playbrush also has key trading partners like Tchibo and Rewe who are enthusiastic about the “Connected Health” trend. Playbrush has also won numerous awards like the Health Media Award in 2016 and the Gamification World Award 2015 in the “Best Technological Innovation”, with reflect the success of the young company.

Head of Marketing, Full-time, (m/f), Vienna, German

Responsibilities

  • Lead and take full ownership of the Marketing/eCommerce vertical and its revenue
  • Manage all digital campaigns including campaign strategy, setup, optimisation and reporting
  • Act as role model and empower your team of 4 to execute the digital strategy successfully
  • Forecast and execute a strategic plan of revenue growth (including budget responsibility)
  • Own all online channels, report on the performance and drive growth in terms of awareness and conversion (including website and webshop)
  • Have the independence to drive acquisition and performance marketing
  • Set relevant KPIs across all channels, analyse and take actions accordingly
  • Work closely with the other teams to ensure content is optimised and up to date

Requirements

  • 4-5 years experience in a digital Marketing/eCommerce role
  • Leadership experience
  • Mindset to transform the big picture into small actions, with a passion for detail
  • Previous experience of working in a high growth company or startup environment
  • Understanding/previous experience with consumer brands and digital marketing/eCommerce
  • Passionate about the brand and digital marketing
  • Fluent in German and English

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and resistance to stress

Junior Online Marketplace Manager (Amazon & eBay) - DACH region Full-time or part-time,(m/f), London or Vienna

Responsibilities

  • Performance management of all country-specific (DACH region) online marketplaces
  • Handle marketplace orders and be our main point of contact with Amazon
  • Monitor KPIs and optimize for sales targets
  • Optimize product page and set up new product listings
  • Proactively plan, create and monitor Amazon promotions and deals
  • Set up and manage accounts for additional worldwide online marketplaces
  • Identify, plan and test new attractive markets (Italy and Spain)

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field

  • Ideally experience with Amazon Marketing Services
  • Fluent in German and very good English skills

Web Marketing Manager (eCommerce) (m/f), Fulltime, Vienna, German

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the Playbrush Web Environment and its content management, including the Playbrush Webshop, Website and Blog.
  • You will create outstanding online consumer experience.
  • You are responsible for digital projects (from mockup design to implementation), working with internal designers and developers as well as with external agencies.
  • You will run A/B and user tests to improve our conversion.
  • You will proactively develop features and identify necessary feature changes.
  • You will proactively create and implement exciting content for our website and blog displaying our expertise in children’s oral care.
  • You will closely work with other members of our marketing team to raise our brand awareness and improve conversion rates

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ demonstrated experience in digital marketing, preferably with eCommerce products.
  • Passionate about building great web interfaces with a focus on families.
  • Experience or knowledge of WordPress, Shopify, HTML and Google Analytics.
  • Good understanding of web usability best practices and web analytics to optimise content & campaigns, improving performance.
  • Strong copywriting and proofreading abilities.
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Keen attention to detail, accuracy and a great eye for design.
  • Experience and knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Hands-on and proactive attitude.
  • Able to work as part of an agile team in a dynamic early-stage startup.
  • Ability to work both cooperatively and with limited supervision.

Community and Social Media Intern, (m/f), London, English

We are looking for a Community and Social Media Intern to support our Ecommerce team in developing engaging content and to contribute to the success of the Playbrush Digital Marketing Strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Set and implement social media campaigns in alignment with eCommerce and branding strategies
  • Support content development, including text, image and video for performance marketing and social media channels
  • Respond to comments and community queries in a timely manner
  • Monitor and report on customer feedback and online reviews
  • Participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends

Requirements

  • Currently a student in Business, Marketing or another relevant field or just finished your studies.
  • Strong interest in Digital Marketing and Social Media.
  • Strong interest in working in a Start-up environment.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in creating, editing images and video for Social Media is preferred.
  • Excellent proficiency in German and English is required.
